Ronald Dee Menacher , 61 of Elk City, OK. formerly of Oblong, IL passed away Monday April 23, 2018 in Carter, OK.
A casual gathering of family and friends to share memories and celebrate Ronald’s life will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Saturday May 12, 2018 at the Pulliam Funeral Home 302 E. Main St. Oblong, IL.

Ronald Dee Menacher , 61 of Elk City, OK. formerly of Oblong, IL passed away Monday April 23, 2018 in Carter, OK.
Ron was born July 10, 1956 in Olney, IL and was the son of Earnest “Ernie” and Geneva (Riegle) Menacher. Ronald spent his childhood and some of his adult life in Oblong, IL where he attended school.
He had been married to Debbie Sue Stigler in 1980. Debbie passed away on May 2, 2016. To this union, four children were born, Tina, Joshua, Harley and Robert. He began his career in the trucking industry carrying freight all over the United States. Ron enjoyed trucking, riding motorcycles, being a mechanic and working on his trucks and other vehicles.
Preceding him in death were his father; wife; one son Joshua Menacher and one brother Richard Menacher.
Ron is survived by his daughter Tina and Keith Dobbs; two sons and daughter-in-law Harley and Sarah Menacher and Robert Menacher all of Elk City, OK; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his mother Geneva Menacher of Oblong, IL; brother and sister-in-law Steve and Janet Menacher of Oblong, IL; sister Janet Matheney of Sterling, IL and a host of other relatives and friends.
